Truck Driver Schools In Ontario. This concept has been under construction for a short time now amongst me and my team.

In this guide I will introduce you to gamemode called basewars. It includes basics as well as some more advanced stuff, and also some tips & tricks. Hope you will enjoy reading it!.

A poll will be available at the top of the post for people to vote on. This will give the community team an idea whether people want to see this server or not. Please feel free to comment below with your thoughts/opinions. Zarp Basewars Guide What is Basewars? This gamemode is self-explanatory: you make a base, print money, afford raiding equipment and explosives to raid other people. Seems straight forward, but it’s more complicated than you think. This gamemode requires CS:S textures so you will need to download them before you start to play.

Basewars has its own set of rules which must be followed at all times. You can read the rules by typing!motd.

Any violation of these rules will result in punishments. Beginning First thing you would start by doing is finding an area to base on the map.

Look for somewhere, where there are very few entrances and can be defended easily. Buildings with thick walls (To prevent bullet penetration and where there aren’t too many windows as they can be fired through. Positioning of the base is vital to your success as some locations are easier to defend and attract less attention. When starting to make a base you should block the entrance with a prop, something that has a lot of hit points, but be careful as better props have more health will cost more. Depending on the situation, the best prop will vary.

E.g Large garage doors require a large prop whereas a regular door requires a smaller prop. From this, you can use materials and fading doors in order to gain an advantage for the defending team (See the rules for the base requirements). Now you have a secure base, it’s now time to start making money. The simplest way to do this is by placing down a hobo printer and a coal generator; both of these items are accessible from the start as each player is given $1000.

In order to power the generators, you need to find the appropriate fuel for the generator you have. Each resource will spawn in a particular part of the map. This means you will have to gather resources in order to keep your money production going.

If the generators run out of power then all appliances connection to the generator will no longer work. Printers, Health/Armour Charges and Turrets.

Getting Rich After a while, you will have earned enough money to increase your production capabilities. You can start to upgrade the quality of printers by buying them from the F4 menu. You can have up to: 1 Hobo Printer 4 Bronze Printers 3 Silver Printers 2 Gold Printers 1 Platinum Printer 1 Diamond Printer 1 Nuclear Printer This will come at a cost, higher quality printers will cost more to purchase and maintain often with higher power demand, requiring a generator upgrade. The amount of money produced by each printer increases proportional to their cost.

Hobo printer costs the least but doesn’t produce as much as a Nuclear printer with costs the most but produces more money. Money will fall out of the printers onto the floor which requires the player to go and press “E” on it. However, this can be avoided by purchasing a Money Vault, as if set up correctly will allow the money to fall out of the printer and be collected by the Money Vault. The money vault is completely secure and only the owner of the money vault can claim money from it, unless it’s destroyed meaning anyone can collect the money.

Basing Since you have begun making some money via the printers, you are best to start thinking about designing and making your base. You can claim any door on the map, after claiming every door in a building you and your team are the only people able to place props on the property. Items that can be used during base are: props, weapons, turrets and more useful items in the F4 menu.

When searching for the best base location you are best looking for a location with limited windows (preferably none) which would limit the amount of entrances, or a building with high ceilings which can make your base more secure, by adding turrets which can’t be destroyed with ease. After you have blocked your entrances at the beginning, setting up all your defenses is the most important part. Having high ceilings is key as setting up your turrets as high up as possible makes them hard to destroy. If they are low down they can be destroyed by the enemies launching a couple of grenades in the room. A key tip is to rotate the turrets around so that the grey base is inside the wall which makes them harder to see. After a while you can begin to upgrade your props, which gives them more health making your base more secure. Upgrading money printers isn’t the best thing to do as you make them print only 5% more per level at 1/2 of money you afforded the printer for.

Upgrading can be done using the command /upg. After making money, you can most likely afford weapons, so to make sure your base is secure you can apply a KOS line outside your base, which means anyone who passes the line you can kill as soon as you see them. Raiding To start a raid, you must have a “Radar” which is purchasable in the F4 menu. After that you scan a player in the team you want to raid.

Each of the teams (yours and the team you want to raid) must have at least a gold or better printer in their base. The raid commences when you scan a player, you will have 15 minutes to raid as much as possible. The raid will end when either a golden printer from one of the teams is destroyed or the defending team has survived the 15 minutes.

If the 15 minutes passes, each player can be killed once more within 5 minutes of it ending. The best way to enter a base is by using grenades as they do the most damage at the cheapest rate. Toshiba Function Key Driver Windows 7 Download there. Some of the most recommended weapons for raiding are the Spaz-12, Ares Strikes, Double Barrel or Dragunov SVU. When defending a raid, the best weapons are in the “Sniper Rifle” section, due to the bullet penetration. Useful Commands Some useful commands on the server that can be used on the server are: Team/Gang Commands /ct= Create Team /invite (users name) = Invite Player to Your Team/Gang /accept= Accepts the Incoming Invite /promote (users name) = Promotes a New Team Leader /leave = Leaves Team Player Commands /upg = Upgrades Items /dm (amount) = Drops the Specified Amount of Money /dw = Drops the Current Weapon Raiding /surrender = Attempts to surrender the current raid.

Basewars is a rising gamemode which is starting to break into the top 20 gamemodes on GMod. The top server at the moment is currently in the 300's on gametracker which proves there is potential for this to become a good/popular gamemode. Currently, Basewars averages around 100-200 players on only 19 servers which is a good player to server ratio compared to other gamemodes. Most people have never tried this gamemode but it takes the popular sections of SSRP (the basing and raiding) and cuts out all of the Roleplay related gameplay.

We have spoken to the community team and we have been allowed access to the a variation of the F1 menu and FAdmin. We have chosen to use FAdmin over ULX and F1 over AWarn, as we feel that as this server runs in a similar way to SSRP that it would be appropriate to use the same admin tools. Thanks for taking time to read this post. This is NOT a finished Suggestion and the post will be edited as and when we feel necessary.
