• Ibrahim, Y.; Padmanabhan, E.; Ano, A. B.; Ismail, W. 2016-11-01 Infra-red thermography was applied to sandstone to characterize and obtain a baseline or a reference thermal image for sandstone. The sample was imaged at room temperature and then heated and imaged again at different time intervals.

The thermal images and the optical gradient obtained were analyzed, calibrated, and equated to actual-temperature measured geothermal gradient under controlled heat flux. Heat flow propagation is not consistent in the first time intervals (below 25 minutes). However, after that, the difference in temperature in the distal part and the proximal parts to the heat source almost remained constant. In general, the heat flow could fit to a linear model that is directly proportional to time. The results can be useful when applied to borehole thermal imaging, as well as in thermal conductivity and geothermal gradient determination. • Kutyrev, A S.; Moseley, S. T.; Gehrels, N.; Grindlay, J. S.; Woodgate, B. 2010-01-01 The Infra-Red Telescope is a critical element of the EXIST (Energetic X-Ray Imaging Survey Telescope) observatory. The primary goal of the IRT is to obtain photometric and spectroscopic measurements of high redshift (>or =6) gamma ray reaching to the epoque of reionization. The photometric and spectral capabilities of the IRT will allow to use GRB afterglow as probes of the composition and ionization state of the intergalactic medium of the young universe. A prompt follow up (within three minutes) of the transient discovered by the EXIST makes IRT a unique tool for detection and study of these events in the infrared and optical wavelength, which is particularly valuable at wavelengths unavailable to the ground based observatories.

We present the results of the mission study development on the IRT as part of the EXIST observatory. By recording the intensity at multiple planes and using FFT or DCT based TIE solver, fast and accurate phase retrieval for both uniform and non-uniform intensity distributions is proposed. Numerical simulation and experiments confirm the accuracy and reliability of the proposed method. The application of IR-TIE for inspection of micro-patterns in visibly opaque media using 1310 nm light source is demonstrated. For comparison, micro-patterns are also inspected by the contact scanning mode Taylor Hobson system.

Quantitative agreement suggests the possibility of using IR-TIE for phase imaging of silicon wafers. • Benignus, V. A.; Benignus, G. 1975-01-01 A program, designed specifically to study the respective effects of some common data problems on results obtained through stepwise iterative Fourier transformation of synthetic data with known waveform composition, was outlined. Included in this group were the problems of gaps in the data, different time-series lengths, periodic but nonsinusoidal waveforms, and noisy (low signal-to-noise) data.

Results on sinusoidal data were also compared with results obtained on narrow band noise with similar characteristics. The findings showed that the analytic procedure under study can reliably reduce data in the nature of (1) sinusoids in noise, (2) asymmetric but periodic waves in noise, and (3) sinusoids in noise with substantial gaps in the data.

The program was also able to analyze narrow-band noise well, but with increased interpretational problems. The procedure was shown to be a powerful technique for analysis of periodicities, in comparison with classical spectrum analysis techniques. However, informed use of the stepwise procedure nevertheless requires some background of knowledge concerning characteristics of the biological processes under study.

With this method, an interferogram is created by two beam interference which is subsequently Fourier-transformed. Most Fourier transform spectrometers used today provide the interferogram in the temporal domain.

In contrast, static Fourier transform spectrometers generate interferograms in the spatial domain. One example of this type of spectrometer is the static single-mirror Fourier transform spectrometer which offers a high etendue in combination with a simple, miniaturized optics design. As no moving parts are required, it also features a high vibration resistance and high measurement rates. However, it is susceptible to temperature variations. In this paper, we therefore discuss the main sources for temperature-induced errors in static single-mirror Fourier transform spectrometers: changes in the refractive index of the optical components used, variations of the detector sensitivity, and thermal expansion of the housing. As these errors manifest themselves in temperature-dependent wavenumber shifts and intensity shifts, they prevent static single-mirror Fourier transform spectrometers from delivering long-term stable spectra. To eliminate these shifts, we additionally present a work concept for the thermal stabilization of the spectrometer.

With this stabilization, static single-mirror Fourier transform spectrometers are made suitable for infrared process spectroscopy under harsh thermal environmental conditions. As the static single-mirror Fourier transform spectrometer uses the so-called source-doubling principle, many of the mentioned findings are transferable to other designs of static Fourier transform spectrometers based on the same principle. • Arbuzov, B.A.; Davydychev, A.I.; Kurennoy, S.S. 1987-01-01 A number of particular solutions of the Schwinger-Dyson equation for the quark propagator in the infra-red region of QCD is obtained taking account of the gauge identities.

These developments are based on the generalized Fourier-grid formalism and use a new type of extended discrete Fourier transform: the discrete Fourier-Riccati-Bessel transform. This innovation includes a slide mechanism to restrict motion to one dimension, an actuator to drive the motion, and a linear velocity transducer (LVT) to measure the speed. The cube corner mirror is double-passed in one arm of the FTS; double-passing is required to compensate for optical beam shear resulting from tilting of the moving cube corner. The slide, actuator, and LVT are off-the-shelf components that are capable of cryogenic vacuum operation. The actuator drives the slide for the required travel of 2.5 cm.

The LVT measures translation speed. A proportional feedback loop compares the LVT voltage with the set voltage (speed) to derive an error signal to drive the actuator and achieve near constant speed. When the end of the scan is reached, a personal computer reverses the set voltage.

The actuator and LVT have no moving parts in contact, and have magnetic properties consistent with cryogenic operation. The unlubricated slide restricts motion to linear travel, using crossed roller bearings consistent with 100-million- stroke operation. The mechanism tilts several arc seconds during transport of the FTS mirror, which would compromise optical fringe efficiency when using a flat mirror. Consequently, a cube corner mirror is used, which converts a tilt into a shear.

The sheared beam strikes (at normal incidence) a flat mirror at the end of the FTS arm with the moving mechanism, thereby returning upon itself and compensating for the shear • Lucy Lim 2016-01-01 Full Text Available Unknown compounds in environmental samples are difficult to identify using standard mass spectrometric methods. Fourier transform mass spectrometry (FTMS has revolutionized how environmental analyses are performed. With its unsurpassed mass accuracy, high resolution and sensitivity, researchers now have a tool for difficult and complex environmental analyses.

Two features of FTMS are responsible for changing the face of how complex analyses are accomplished. First is the ability to quickly and with high mass accuracy determine the presence of unknown chemical residues in samples. For years, the field has been limited by mass spectrometric methods that were based on knowing what compounds of interest were. Secondly, by utilizing the high resolution capabilities coupled with the low detection limits of FTMS, analysts also could dilute the sample sufficiently to minimize the ionization changes from varied matrices. Experiments were carried out in a well-established mouse model of human Chronic Myelogenous Leukemia (CML). Mouse-derived pro-B Ba/F3 cells transfected with and stably expressing the human p210(BCR-ABL) drug-sensitive wild-type BCR-ABL or the V299L or T315I p210(BCR-ABL) drug-resistant BCR-ABL mutants were exposed to imatinib-mesylate (IMA) or dasatinib (DAS). MicroFTIR was carried out at the Diamond IR beamline MIRIAM where the mid-IR absorbance spectra of individual Ba/F3 cells were acquired using the high brilliance IR synchrotron radiation (SR) via aperture of 15 × 15 μm(2) in sizes. A conventional IR source (globar) was used to compare average spectra over 15 cells or more. IR signatures of drug actions were identified by supervised analyses in the spectra of TKI-sensitive cells.

Unsupervised HCA applied to selected intervals of wavenumber allowed us to classify the IR patterns of viable (drug-resistant) and apoptotic (drug-sensitive) cells with an accuracy of >95%. The results from microFTIR + HCA analysis were cross-validated with those obtained via immunochemical methods, i.e. Immunoblotting and flow cytometry (FC) that resulted directly and significantly correlated. We conclude that this combined microFTIR + HCA method potentially represents a rapid, convenient and robust screening approach to study the impact of drugs in leukemic cells as well as in peripheral blasts from patients in clinical trials with new anti-leukemic drugs. • Al-Nakhli, Hani H.; Petrofsky, Jerrold S.; Laymon, Michael S.; Berk, Lee S. 2012-01-01 proteins have been documented 6,16, in addition to the high risks sometimes associated with invasive techniques.

For space-variant degradation and non-stationary processes the filtering in fractional Fourier domains permits reduction of the error compared with ordinary Fourier domain filtering. In this paper the concept of filtering in fractional Fourier domains is applied to the problem of estimating degraded images.

Efficient digital implementation using discrete Hermite eigenvectors can provide similar results to match the continuous outputs. Expressions for the 2D optimal filter function in fractional domains will be given for transform domains characterized by the two rotation angle parameters of the 2D fractional Fourier transform. The proposed method is used to restore images that have several degradations in the experiments. The results show that the method presented in this paper is valid. • 无 2006-01-01 The fractional Fourier transform is a generalization of the classical Fourier transform, which is introduced from the mathematic aspect by Namias at first and has many applications in optics quickly. Whereas its potential appears to have remained largely unknown to the signal processing community until 1990s.

The fractional Fourier transform can be viewed as the chirp-basis expansion directly from its definition, but essentially it can be interpreted as a rotation in the time-frequency plane, i.e. The unified time-frequency transform. With the order from 0 increasing to 1, the fractional Fourier transform can show the characteristics of the signal changing from the time domain to the frequency domain. In this research paper, the fractional Fourier transform has been comprehensively and systematically treated from the signal processing point of view. Our aim is to provide a course from the definition to the applications of the fractional Fourier transform, especially as a reference and an introduction for researchers and interested readers.

• Gao, Xinya; Wu, Sijin; Yang, Lianxiang 2013-10-01 Digital holographic interferometry (DHI) is a well-established optical technique for measurement of nano-scale deformations. It has become more and more important due to the rapid development of applications in aerospace engineering and biomedicine. Traditionally, phase shift technique is used to quantitatively measure the deformations in DHI. However, it cannot be applied in dynamic measurement. Fourier transform phase extraction method, which can determine the phase distribution from only a single hologram, becomes a promising method to extract transient phases in DHI. This paper introduces a digital holographic interferometric system based on 2D Fourier transform phase extraction method, with which deformations of objects can be measured quickly.

In the optical setup, the object beam strikes a CCD via a lens and aperture, and the reference beam is projected on the CCD through a single-mode fiber. A small inclination angle between the diverging reference beam and optical axial is introduced in order to physically separate the Fourier components in frequency domain. Phase maps are then obtained by the utilization of Fourier transform and windowed inverse Fourier transform. The capability of the Fourier transform DHI is discussed by theoretical discussion as well as experiments. • Henderson, J R 2010-10-26 The purpose of an On-Site Inspection (OSI) is to determine whether a nuclear explosion has occurred in violation of the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty (CTBT), and to gather information which might assist in identifying the violator (CTBT, Article IV, Paragraph 35) Multi-Spectral and Infra Red Imaging (MSIR) is allowed by the treaty to detect observables which might help reduce the search area and thus expedite an OSI and make it more effective.

MSIR is permitted from airborne measurements, and at and below the surface to search for anomalies and artifacts (CTBT, Protocol, Part II, Paragraph 69b). The three broad types of anomalies and artifacts MSIR is expected to be capable of observing are surface disturbances (disturbed earth, plant stress or anomalous surface materials), human artifacts (man-made roads, buildings and features), and thermal anomalies. The purpose of this Primer is to provide technical information on MSIR relevant to its use for OSI. It is expected that this information may be used for general background information, to inform decisions about the selection and testing of MSIR equipment, to develop operational guidance for MSIR use during an OSI, and to support the development of a training program for OSI Inspectors. The first signs of this came with the launch of night vision systems for cars, first by Cadillac and Honda and then, more successfully by BMW, Daimler and Audi.

For the first time, simple thermal imaging systems were being manufactured at the rate of more than 10,000 units a year. Drivers License Parsing Software Applications. This step change in volumes enabled a step change in system costs, with thermal imaging moving into the consumer's price range.

Today we see that the consumer awareness and the consumer market continues to increase with the launch of a number of consumer focused smart phone add-ons. This has brought a further step change in system costs, with the possibility to turn your mobile phone into a thermal imager for under $250. As the detector technology has matured, the pixel pitches have dropped from 50μm in 2002 to 12 μm or even 10μm in today's detectors.

This dramatic shrinkage in size has had an equally dramatic effect on the optics required to produce the image on the detector. A moderate field of view that would have required a focal length of 40mm in 2002 now requires a focal length of 8mm. For wide field of view applications and small detector formats, focal lengths in the range 1mm to 5mm are becoming common. For lenses, the quantity manufactured, quality and costs will require a new approach to high volume Infra-Red (IR) manufacturing to meet customer expectations. This, taken with the SwaP-C requirements and the emerging requirement for very small lenses driven by the new detectors, suggests that wafer scale optics are part of the solution. Umicore can now present initial results from an intensive research and development program to mold and coat wafer level optics, using its chalcogenide glass, GASIR®.

(Inventor) 2015-01-01 An image-based phase retrieval technique has been developed that can be used on board a space based iterative transformation system. Image-based wavefront sensing is computationally demanding due to the floating-point nature of the process.

The discrete Fourier transform (DFT) calculation is presented in 'diagonal' form. By diagonal we mean that a transformation of basis is introduced by an application of the similarity transform of linear algebra. The current method exploits the diagonal structure of the DFT in a special way, particularly when parts of the calculation do not have to be repeated at each iteration to converge to an acceptable solution in order to focus an image. • Dean, Bruce H. 2009-01-01 Alternative computational strategies for the Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) have been developed using analysis of geometric manifolds.

This approach provides a general framework for performing DFT calculations, and suggests a more efficient implementation of the DFT for applications using iterative transform methods, particularly phase retrieval. The DFT can thus be implemented using fewer operations when compared to the usual DFT counterpart. The software decreases the run time of the DFT in certain applications such as phase retrieval that iteratively call the DFT function. The algorithm exploits a special computational approach based on analysis of the DFT as a transformation in a complex vector space.

As such, this approach has the potential to realize a DFT computation that approaches N operations versus Nlog(N) operations for the equivalent Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) calculation. • Nishchal, Naveen K.; Joseph, Joby; Singh, Kehar 2003-11-01 In this paper, we implement a fully phase encrypted memory system using cascaded extended fractional Fourier transform (FRT).

We encrypt and decrypt a two-dimensional image obtained from an amplitude image. The fully phase image to be encrypted is fractional Fourier transformed three times and random phase masks are placed in the two intermediate planes. Performing the FRT three times increases the key size, at an added complexity of one more lens. The encrypted image is holographically recorded in a photorefractive crystal and is then decrypted by generating through phase conjugation, conjugate of encrypted image. The decrypted phase image is converted into an amplitude image by using phase contrast technique.

A lithium niobate crystal has been used as a phase contrast filter to reconstruct the phase image, alleviating the need of alignment in the Fourier plane, thereby making the system rugged. H.; Harwit, M.

1976-01-01 An encoding figure of merit is established for a detector-noise limited Fourier transform spectrometer (FTS) and compared to the comparable figure for a Hadamard transform spectrometer (HTS). The limitation of the Fourier system is partly that it does not truly Fourier analyze the radiation. Instead a cosine squared modulation is imposed on the different spectral frequencies. An additional difficulty is that neither the cosine nor the cosine squared functions form an orthonormal set. This makes the Fellgett's advantage (root-mean-squared figure of merit) for a single detector Michelson interferometer a factor of the square root of (N/8) greater than for a conventional grating instrument - rather than the square root of (N/2).

The theoretical limit would be the square root of N. • Pla, C.; Podgorsak, E. 1984-03-01 A thermoluminescence (TL) thermogram reconstruction technique based on fast Fourier transformation (FFT) techniques is presented. By making use of the fact that the Bayer-filter in commercial webcams is transparent in the near infra-red (>800 nm) and their CCD chips are sensitive up to about 1100 nm, we demonstrate a cheap and simple way to measure laser beam profiles with a resolution down to around ±1 μm, which is close to the resolution of the knife-edge technique. • Ellison, Sara L; Scudder, Jillian M; Patton, David R; Palmer, Michael J D 2013-01-01 We use a sample of 9397 low z galaxies with a close companion to investigate the connection between mergers and luminous infra-red (IR) galaxies (LIRGs).

The pairs are selected from the SDSS and have projected separations rp 10.5), likely because the SFR enhancement required to produce LIRG luminosities is more modest than at low masses. The Delta SFR offers a redshift-independent metric for the identification of the galaxies with the most enhanced star forming rates that does not rely on fixed LIR boundaries. • Ahn, Kwangsu; Cao, Wenda; Shumko, Sergiy; Chae, Jongchul 2016-05-01 We want to present the processing result of the vector magnetograms from the Near InfraRed Imaging Spectropolarimeter (NIRIS) at Big Bear Solar Observatory. The NIRIS is a successor of an old magnetograph system at BBSO, which equips with the new infrared detector and the improved Fabry-Perot filter system. While there are several upgrades to the new hardware, there are also some challenges as the data acquisition rate increases and we deal with the a larger detector array.

• Dean, Bruce H. (Inventor) 2012-01-01 According to various embodiments, a method is provided for determining aberration data for an optical system. The method comprises collecting a data signal, and generating a pre- transformation algorithm. The data is pre- transformed by multiplying the data with the pre- transformation algorithm.

A discrete Fourier transform of the pre- transformed data is performed in an iterative loop. The method further comprises back- transforming the data to generate aberration data. • Aplin, K L 2005-01-01 Protonated water clusters are a common species of atmospheric molecular cluster-ion, produced by cosmic rays throughout the troposphere and stratosphere.

Under clear-sky conditions or periods of increased atmospheric ionisation, such as solar proton events, the IR absorption by atmospheric ions may affect climate through the radiative balance. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectrometry in a long path cell, of path length 545m, has been used to detect IR absorption by corona-generated positive molecular cluster-ions.

The column concentration of ions in the laboratory spectroscopy experiment was estimated to be ~10^13 m-2; the column concentration of protonated atmospheric ions estimated using a simple model is ~10^14 m-2. Two regions of absorption, at 12.3 and 9.1 um are associated with enhanced ion concentrations.

After filtering of the measured spectra to compensate for spurious signals from neutral water vapour and residual carbon dioxide, the strongest absorption region is at 9.5 to 8.8 um (1050 to 1140 cm-1).

Hi ExpertsOur requirement is to create or change the IT 0703 records through one Process and Formswhen we are configuring HCM process and forms design time, in backend services SAP_PA, subtype for infotype 703 is not populating in value help.when we put * in the subtype column in Infotype and Operations(SAP_PA) and when we execute in R/3 (Not through portal) it is throwing dump stating that: Subtype * Not Permitted for Infotype 0703 TCLAS If we have subtype records in IT 0021 and creating dependent type 02 in IT 703 through design time SAP_PA backend services it always throwing error as below. Create a record IT family details(0021) with this subtype before this ITeven though we maintained in IT 21 with all subtypes Could anyone please throw some light on how to resolve this issue.RegardsDeepak. Hello, We have entered family members/dependents using IT 0021. When we go to add beneficiaries to the insurance plans, the family members do not appear.

I have found that it depends on what date the family member/dependent was created versus the date the insurance plan was created. If I change the date of the insurance plan to the date the family member/dependent was created, the family member appears with the column to add the percentage. However, if I save it, the insurance plan date will change and this is not acceptable. Example: Insurance plan date Family member/dependent date. In the above example, when I view the insurance plan, the date appears with no family members/dependents.

On this same screen, if I change the date to the family member appears and the date of the insurance plan is changed, if I save it. What is the best practice for adding beneficiaries that have previously been created with a creation date other than the creation date of the insurance plan?

I do not want to change the date of the insurance plan, however, some family members/dependents were created after the creation of the insruance plan. Please help, thank you.

I have two quota vacations, one is working fine and the other one no. This one when I fill a vacation period in infotype 2001 It does not deduct the days of the quota in infotype 2006. I have checked the customizing for the quota vacation that is not working and I have not found anything wrong.

The only thing I have found is a difference between the other vacation quota that is working fine. I do not know if it is the problem, I have found the table T556U where there is no record for the new vacation quota.

It exist one record for the vacation quota tha is working fine: MANDT: 500 MOPGK: 1 MOZKO: 01 QTYPE: A QCTYP: 1010 DEDRG: 10 I think it should be another similar record for the vacation quota tha is not working with this data similar to this one: MANDT: 500 MOPGK: 3 MOZKO: 02 QTYPE: A QCTYP:?????? DEDRG: 30 Do you know where in customizing I can fill this information or I should fill directly in the table T556U? When I try to update the table T556U with the tcode SM30 I get the message error: 'No quota type for key 10680 Message no. 72028' How should I fix this deduction quota tha is not working? Kind regards, Julian.

Hi Justin, If I query the MLOGS of one of my Materialized vies on the master table site, I have the following result: SQL select snaptime$$ from mlog$_intervenants@atqprod.world order by 1; SNAPTIME$$ ------------------- 2008-02-25 09:-02-25 09:-02-25 09:-02-25 09:-02-25 09:-02-25 09:01:17. 2008-02-26 08:-02-26 08:-02-26 08:-02-26 08:-02-26 08:-02-26 08:-02-26 09:01:23. 2008-02-27 09:-02-27 09:-02-27 09:-02-27 09:-02-27 11:02:01. 2008-02-27 11:02:01 146 ligne(s) slectionne(s).

SQL So, the 'unregister' of the MLOG on the master table site was made yesterday around 8h00 PM. We're not supposed to found records with a date before yesterday night.

It's the same thing for all the MVIEW. So, how can I purge the MLOGs? Hi again, Last night, the DBA of the master table site ran the following SQL script for all the MVIEWs: BEGIN DBMS_SNAPSHOT.PURGE_SNAPSHOT_FROM_LOG (45); END; / The initial script they ran (2 days ago) to unregister the MVIEW associated with the old server didn't purge the snapshot. This morning, if we look in all the mlog$ table, the only record I saw are the records that contain a snaptime$$ = 4000-01-01 and 2 refresh was made since the beginning of the day. It sounds good!!! The mlogs are purged. They also tried to register the MVIEWs on my new server but it didn't work.

So, now, I don't think it's necessary. The initial bug was about the fact that the mlogs was not purged. I don't know if I have to investigate more. What do you think about it? Thank you very much for your help, it's appreciate! When I run the tool on the servers I am currently testing with I receive the following output: BITSADMIN version 1.5 [ 5.2.3790.0 ] You are using the wrong version of the tool. The tool is run on the CLIENT system(s) to clear the download queue that exists on each CLIENT system. To clarify my earlier comments. The DOCUMENTATION on the Win2003 system is for BITS v1.5. BITS v1.5 is what shipped with Windows Server 2003 =RTM= and Windows XP =RTM=. WSUS uses BITS 2.0. BITS 2.0 wasupdated in March 2005 by KB842773 Update for Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) 2.0 and WinHTTP 5.1. This is a required updatefor WinXP/Win2003 systems.

The update was included in Windows Server 2003 SP1 and Windows XP SP3. BITSADMIN.EXE is not updated by that patch.

It needs to be installed manually. I now see, though, that you're reading from the BITSADMIN v1.5 command's help screen, not the online help, which would certainly confuse things even more.Lawrence Garvin, M.S., MCITP:EA, MCDBA, MCSA Principal/CTO, Onsite Technology Solutions, Houston, Texas Microsoft MVP - Software Distribution (2005-2011) My MVP Profile: My Blog: http://onsitechsolutions.spaces.live.com. Hi HR Gurus, I have a requirement to add an additional column(to the table control) in the overview screen of infotype 0021.

This column will be populated with the value stored in the field PA0106-DOCID (Physician ID) for each record displayedin the infotype. While creating a record in the infotype 0021, there is a field in the screen 2000 that is used to populate thephysician ID (P0106-DOCID). The value in this field gets stored in infotype 0106. I followed the instructions available on the net to be able to achieve this.

However, the field got added to the table control in the end (last column on right). Also, it does not displayany data. My question is: 1) Kindly let me know as to how can I alter the position of the field. I want this field to be the second column of the tab control.2) Do I need to write any code in the form routine FILL-LISTSTRUCT? If yes, could you please give me a snippet of the code? Thank you so much for the help in advance! Best,SAP HR Guy.

Hi, In Family Member/Dependents (ESS Personal Information Family Member/Dependents), I have hidden few fields using personalization from portal and it is working fine in dev system. Then transported to Test system and when I click on Review button in Edit screen, it is throwing below error. Invalid partial field access: Length 0, error key: RFC_ERROR_SYSTEM_FAILURE We have kept external break point and found the reason that this problem is because of the 'Telephone' field. Hypen is maintained in the field by default and due to this, it is throwing error. This should maintain either completely empty or with some number. Infotype 0021 which was already maintained earlier for the users, the field telephone is taking hypen and when I click on Review button, getting error. For the users, whose infotype 0021 has not maintained earlier, I have created new spouse from portal and it is working and there is no problem when I click on Review Button in edit screen.

The only problem here is for those whose IT0021 was maintained earlier, getting error when clicking on Review button in Edit screen. I have made telephone number field as invisible as per the business requirement hence users could not make the telephone field empty or maintain with some number. How can we restrict to take the hypen for those users who have already maintained with IT0021 in order to avoid the error.

Hi, We have made an enhancement to infotype 0006 and added the standard field FAMSA ( From P0021 ).

On creating a SAP Query using SQ01 for Infotype 0006, the field FAMSA(Type of family record ) appears along with 'Text:Type of family record'. No problems so far. When the query is run, thid text field doesn's show up values whereas the field FAMSA does as it is a part of PA0006 now. I have added the Explicit Search help for field FAMSA. On debugging the standard query I found out that the text is obtained from table T591S on passing the infotype as 0006 and the subty.

Whereas table T591s has values for field FAMSA when infotype is 0021. But because the field FAMSA is created under PA0006, the infotype values is passes as 0006. Any suggestions?? So you sce server is SATCVS001 and the dc it knows is msggld001. The sce server is trying to query your dc for group policies and can't get access to the registry on the domain controller, not locally on the sce server. This can be caused by a number of reasons from inadequate privileges, to firewall settings, to the remote registry service being disabled. Ok, so I changed my name.you can still call me Tom if you like.

It's a.jump.to conclusions.mat. My Blog Site: Ah ok.

Well that would explain a lot. We won't have access to write to the registry on MSGGLD001 as we're part of a multi-forest domain. We'll have to contact the domain controller directly to see if we can be granted an exception in this case.

Thanks very much for your help. This thread can be closed I will mark this post as the Answer. Hi, I want to use function module HR_MAINTAIN_MASTERDATA to create only infotypes 0000, 0001 AND 0002.

I am passing only the 0000/01/02 infotype data to this FM and execute. But when i exeute this function module in foreground, after saving infotype 0002 its calling the next infotype 0006 screen. I am not passing any 0006 data, So if this is due to config Is there a way to exit the screen and return after saving IT 0002 Data.

The same problem occurs even when i try the BDC of pa30 or pa40. Thanks Subha.

In ECC the following configuration are done; The Portal team gave us the PCD path for AR family member i view and it isconfiguired in the resources for 99 family members. In the node: Reuse of Screen Structure for New Country Version We selected Infotype:0021 and Inoftype version as 99 and in structure name we entered HCMT_BSP_PA_AR_0021 and type as MAIn infotype in the node:specify use case and subtytpes for 99 we entered the infotype 0021 and subtype In the node: Define country specefic services we mapped damily member services to 99 to our Z resources In the node:Specify fields for bizcards on Overview screen We selected Infotype:0021 and Inoftype version as 99 and in structure name we entered HCMT_BSP_PA_AR_0021 and configured the overview screen fields. Please let me know whether the above are the IMG nodes to be configured. Or there anre any new IMG nodes for this reuse applciation.

Go to the vodafone forum to see how many people are struggling to make calls and many suggestions on what to do. I am surprised no one has started a 'class action' against Vodafone! This post relates to a different problem as I am one of the lucky ones who has managed to get the hub SS talking to each other properly. I recently returned from holiday to find that my Sure Signal wouldn't work at all. Classic problem all three lights on but no calls in or out.

Tech support sorted it out and it started working --- well sort of! However over half the time I just got a beep when trying to make a call and never received incoming calls. Anyway after a lot of investigations I noticed that stability of the 'Ping' (latency) on the line was absolutely awful.

It didn't affect browsing too much but clearly the SS is very susceptible to lost packets and long ping times. Spoke with BT Tech Experts who asked me to monitor and report back to them. I found a piece of software that automates the ping testing called surprise surprise Ping Tester see www pingtester.net You can run it in eval mode. I set it to ping Google every hour for 1000 seconds and found that about 8% of the pings were getting lost and that a considerable amount of the time the ping was over 200ms. Monitoring started on a Saturday but I didnt start recording the info till Sunday. Then miraculously on Monday morning some time after 9.17 am on Monday the problem went away. (8% lost pings to zero) I suspect that a BT engineer reset something but have no proof of this.

Anyway the problem has gone away for now. See below for actual results. The records for 10 am - 1.00 pm are missing because I left the spreadsheet open and ping tester couldn't write to the file.

I am continuing to monitor the ping and have noticed occasional deteriorations for a couple of hours but so far it has always returned to zero lost pings. Dear Expert, I have a requirement in creating a workflow in Infotype 0021 for Family data changes: - I have register for infotype 0021 in T-Code SWEHR3 and I have register 3 operation for 'INS', 'DEL', 'UPD' using Object Type - I'm using Object Type 'FAMILYID'. - I'm registering Function Module by copying from standard FM 'HR_EVENT_RULES_PA0021' My custom workflow will be triggered from FM copy from originial FM 'HR_EVENT_RULES_PA0021' using FM 'SWW_WI_START'. The problem is when I want to modified (UPD) the old family data from selected person, it seems like the workflow triggering 2 event operation 'INS' and 'DEL' but there is no 'UPD' operation, so in approver work list, there are 2 work items in their inbox regarding a New data and Delete family data, why 'UPD' operation is not catch during the Update operation? But when I create a New data the workflow trigger the right operation 'INS'. Also when I try to modified a new data, the workflow trigger the right operation 'UPD' and the new data changed.

Why the 'UPD' operation only work with New data? Why it can not work with the Old data? Any advise will be appreciated, any thank you in advance for any attention or reply. Regards, Dimas W.

Hello Experts,We have a requirement where we need to remove the 'Save' option for particular subtypes in a infotype. For eg, In Infotype 0021 ( Family), User should only have save option for subtype 7 ( Emergency Contact).

All other subtypes like Spouse, Child etc should not have save option. Any idea if this can be done in EHP5?Note: I have tried creating deep copies.

But this allows me to remove the save option on infotype level, not on the subtype level. Any help is appreciated.Thanks,Virag. HI experts, I have a requirement where i need to do standard infotype enhancement using 'Decoupled framework' for infotype enhancement. I read some docs related to that. But i m not clear the about the step by step procedure for enhancing the infotype in this framework.

My actual requirement is enhancing the standard infotype 0021 by adding some additional fields. The validations need to be done for this infotype has to be done using this framework, so that it has to be easily called both in infotypes and in other applications such as HCM forms. Can anyone pls explain me the step by step procedure for acieving this requirement?

The callback works fine, and an second call is made to the client and connected (see debug session), but we do not get an IP connection. Ping etc doesn't respond. When we do not use callback, multilink works fine. It seems to me that on level 2 there is something wrong.

Could you please help based on the attached log file? Hi All, Does anyone have experience with ESS work life events including Benefit plans? We developed work / life events like hiring/birth/marriage/etc. Most scenario's start with a change in infotype 0002/0021 and after saving the health plans will be showed. It this screen the employee can enroll/change their health plan (IT0167). However in order to get this screen the right subtype in infotype 0378 adjustment reasons must exist.

Unfortunately the dynamic action to create the right record in infotype 0378 does not work if you change/create infotype 0021 family/related persons via an ESS scenario. Is there a solution to by pass this or to create this infotype 0378 automatically? We use ECC 6.0. Any advice is welome. Thanks, Marco.

Thanks Vivek, i need confirmation that there is no standard procedure. But i still have a question though, what is process for the LWE for Benefits enrollment?

After the approval notification from the manager for the LWE, does the employee go into LWE screen and his respective Life event like Child Birth or Marriage and enroll from the Benefits enrollment option under Benefits in this screen?? Or After he gets notification he goes into his Benefits and Payment option screen and see his respective adjustment reason which we populate using the Generic_enrollment05 service?? I understand that it is process related and depends on how the client would want to handle it but still i am asking you to find out the general practice, and also can you please let me know which BAPI is used for creating Adjustment Reason 0378 automatically?

And also at which step is this populated, i mean once notification is confirmed we use this Bapi to populate 0378 or somewhere else? I am just not able to understand the process, why would SAP not have standard adjustment reason screen in LWE and expect to enroll an employee in benefits!!! Sometimes it is just crazy. Thank you so much. Hi folks, I need some help in retrieving data from infotype 0000. The records for a certain employee id (10035532) for action infotype are as follows.

I trying to retireve the LOA action records BEGDA-ENDDA-MASSN-MASSG 1. - - Z7(RLOA) - 02(FMLA).

- - Z2 - 05 4. - - ZB - 07 5 - - Z5(Paid LOA) - 05(FMLA) I have to retrieve the Z5 record for this employee. For every Z7 there is a corresponding Z5 record that links to the LOA records, in most cases the Z5 is immediately followed by Z7 record. I am able to retrieve such records successfully. However for few employees like one here the Z5 record is the fourth or fifth record down from the Z7.

How can i retrieve the record in such a case? Also in some cases the date ranges are missing in between, in such cases can we retirieve data succesfully? - - Z7(RLOA) - 02(FMLA).

- - Z2 - 05 4. - - ZB - 07 5 * - - Z5(Paid LOA) - 05(FMLA) Need some inputs on the query here. Thanks in advance, VG. Hi experts, Im doing the enhancement in infotype 0021.

I have added some custom fields (custom subscreen) in IT0021. Those fields (text boxes) are grouped inside a group (Box) in SE51. Now my issue is that when i see the custom subscreen in Change mode in PA30 transaction, it is getting displayed in enable mode. But when i see in Disable mode, still those text boxes are shown in enable mode. Actually those need to be shown in Disable mode, when i see in Display mode in PA30. Pls tell me how to achieve the same. Regards, Shanthi.

Hello, Please kindly help our colleague in this issue. Actually they have customized their system making JP reuse country specific services from UK. In the backend there are no issues, but when entering in the portal it gives a dump when system tries to fill IT0148 (Family JP - infotype specific from JP). Tables related: V_T7XSSREUSEISN V_T588IT_SCREEN SPRO: Personnel Management Employee Self-Service Service-Specific Settings Own Data (0) Reuse Country-Specific Applications @01@ Define Country-Specific Services Note related: 936179 Piece of source code: 10 CASE screen_structure_name. 11 * screen structure for main screen of infotype 0021 12 WHEN 'HCMT_BSP_PA_JP_R0021'. 13 ASSIGN screen_structure TO r0021. 14 ASSIGN pnnnn TO p0021. ASSIGN pnnnn2 TO p0148.

16 17 MOVE-CORRESPONDING p0148 TO r0021. Mrcio, I have come across once this kind of problem at one of our clients. As per my re-search, here are my findings. U2022Unlike UK, JP has additional infotype i.e. If you see the screen structure for UK u201CHCMT_BSP_PA_UK_R0021u201D it has no additional structure attached, this is because UK has no additional infotype. Having said that, if you look back at JP infotype you have 0148, like Mexico one. If you look at Mexico screens structure in t-code se11 u201CHCMT_BSP_PA_MX_R0021u201D, you will find additional include for 0428:u201D HMT_BSP_PA_MX_R0428_VIEWu201D this is because if you look at the class u201CCL_HRPA_UI_CONVERT_0021_MXu201D method u201CIF_HRPA_UI_CONVERT_STANDARD~OUTPUT_CONVERSIONu201D.

It is assigning the 0428 in code CASE screen_structure_name. WHEN 'HCMT_BSP_PA_MX_R0021'. ASSIGN pnnnn TO p0021. ASSIGN screen_structure TO r0021_mx. MOVE-CORRESPONDING p0021 TO r0021_mx. MOVE-CORRESPONDING pnnnn2 TO screen_structure. National specificities ASSIGN screen_structure TO.

R0021_mx-fcnam = p0021-fcnam. ASSIGN pnnnn2 TO p0428. If you looked at Note 1074285 - Web dynpro IT0021, SAP fixed the class.

But the same thing is happening for JP. I donu2019t know but I can tell you one thing it is failing exactly at the same spot where MX used to fail before code changes.

But it is not happening right for JP Infotype. This is why it is short dumping. U2022I also looked at the fields specified in views u201CV_T588MFPROPCu201D and V_T588MFPROPS. I was thinking may be because youu2019re not passing some of the fields which are set to mandatory in said views.

U2022If you looked other tables in SPRO, they are all set and calling up right services. Go to personal management -employee self-services-service specific-setting -own data ( Tables related: V_T7XSSREUSEISN V_T588IT_SCREEN) That what I found in my system, but like I said there might be some code discrepancy in class u201CCL_HRPA_UI_CONVERT_0021_JPu201D method u201CIF_HRPA_UI_CONVERT_STANDARD~OUTPUT_TABLE_CONVERSION u201C.

By looking at your code above, looks like you have to fix it like the Mexico one ( OSS note 1074285 ). Hope this will help! Hi Experts, I have appended 0HRPOSITION_ATTR Datasource with some fields from HRP1011, HRP1007, HRP1008.

This is my sample code. SELECT SINGLE STATUS FROM HRP1007 INTO WA_HRP1007-STATUS WHERE OBJID EQ WA_HRMS_BW_IO_POSITION-PLANS AND ENDDA GE WA_HRMS_BW_IO_POSITION-BEGDA AND ENDDA LE WA_HRMS_BW_IO_POSITION-ENDDA.

IF SY-SUBRC = 0. MOVE WA_HRP1007-STATUS TO WA_HRMS_BW_IO_POSITION-ZZSTATUS. PSA- extractor worked fine but the value in PSA overlapped. Checked DPT 'Handle Duplicate records' still did not work. Position Start Date End date Status Job 30000000 100000 100000 0 100000 1000004--- This last record has Start date Greater than End date, causing further load to fail. Not sure why End date did not change to Seems like, time dependent nature of HR data, it is better idea to create seperate extractor for each Infotype and map them into InfoObject.

Please suggest if you have better thought. Thanks Arjun. Hi Minu, there is no feature te default the bank key, as the bank key often is dependent of the bank where the employee has his/her account. If you want to default the bank key you can do this through the user exit before output (zxpadu01 or badi). The check on the bank key: SAP checks if the value entered is a valid bank key, if they enter 6 and this is not defined as a valid bank key, the system will generate an error message. If you like to restrict more and only allow 01 and 02 (even though other values exist as bank key), you can do this in the user eixt after infotype (zxpadu02 or BADI).

After upgrade from 4.6C to ECC6.0 something has changed in rules containing NUM=F01MB (and alike, which read technical date of entry from 41 infotype) ZDT0-ZDT5. Although the 41 infotype has the record with 01 date type (and it is there in T548Y), the system refuses to read it during payroll run, which results in certain wage types are not being calculated. The temporary solution I've found is to change the rules like: NUM=FA MB, which makes the system read date of entry from infotype 0. Nevertheless, the problem with 41 IT still remains. Could anyone advise, please? Many thanks in advance.

I'm trying to get VMWare Workstation installed on a Win7 Enterprise, 64bit system. I install VM7 with no error messages, at the end of the install it asks me to restart. When the system is restarted, Win7 starts to load and gets to the splash screen. Seems to stop just short of the user authentication phase. If I go into safe mode and try to uninstall, it fails with 'The MSI ' Failed'.

Only recourse to get system back is a System Restore. Hi, I have just added several fields to infotype 0021, namely KDART (child type), KDZUL and KDZUG.

They are single select fields and I need to make selection options for them. Since IMG does not refer to any special views for this, I have only found table view V_T577 that I might be using. This view is general for several fields of IT0021 (this is what I guess). I have filled this table with the values.

But how do I now connect the values with the required fields? For instance I made Fam.char=2, Specific=01, Internal Key=1 Text = disabled child. And I want this to be connected to the form field Child Type (KDART). Where can I make this connection? Best regards. I made a.vmx file of my XP home installation today using VMWare converter, and I am trying to open it using VMWare player in Ubuntu Edgy.

I get an error, and I was hoping someone would know where I went wrong. I think this may have to do with the fact that the virtual machine is located on the same hard drive as the Ubuntu OS, but that could have nothing to do with it. The error and log file are as follows. Thanks in advance. Error: VMware Player unrecoverable error: (vcpu-0) Unexpected signal: 11.

Very similar issue with Fedora Core 8 (Werewolf) and VMware Player 2.0.4 (build 93057). In my case, I rebuilt a IBM/Lenovo Thinkpad T42 with Fedora Core 8 and patched it to the latest versions (kernel is 2.6.25.6-27.fc8 #1 SMP). VMware Player 2.0.4 installed correctly for the most part (vmblock did not build, but that's ok and recently very typical of VMware Tools on FC8 releases).

VMware Server 1.0.5 would not build at all. I copied a WinXP SP2 VM from my VMware Workstation 6.0.4 (Build 93057).

Booting gave me very, very similar results to above, whether I booted it on ext3 or off the USB drive -- meanwhile Linux VMs worked fine. (I could could see ext3-ng being a problem, but it was not my problem.) For me, the corrections required changes to the.VMX file in the VM directory.

I had to correct a few things: Disable share folders (sharedFolder0.enabled = 'FALSE' and sharedFolder1.enabled = 'FALSE') Fix the screen resolution (my 'beginner' T42 only does 1024x768) Fix the Video RAM (svga.vramsize) from 64MB to 32MB. There is 64MB in the orginal host, but the Xorg start up only maps 32MB, though it says 64MB is accessible. (I have more work to on the ATI Radeon 7500 controller in the laptop.) AND THE CRITICAL FIX: mks.enable3d = 'FALSE' The last step was a critical one. In my case, I think the ATI Radeon controllers is not configured correctly (yet) and 3D acceleration is broken as a result. I suspect until I get the video controller set up correctly, that keeping 3D disabled is the short term workaround. I hope this posting complements the others on this thread, in case some one else gets whacked by an Unexpected signal: 11. I need a program to calculate the fft of a signal whose signal data is an input signal is in a txt file.

I've gone thru some programs but i'm still not able to come up with a proper one. Can anyone pls help me with this program. The program should calculate the fft of the input file and save the output in another txt file. The input data is something like this.
