I did a review a few weeks ago about my Dremel 6300 Oscillating saw. I gave it One Star due to it's quitting in the middle of a job. Well, I was irritated at that point so my review was not really justified. Yes, the saw quit, but I should have taken a different approach. After my review, I was contacted by Julie Lynch in their service center. She went way above the call of her job to rectify my situation.

She understood my frustration and at no cost to me, is replacing my unit with the upgraded unit as if under warranty. She didnt have to do that, but she did. Not only is she sending me a replacement, but is including all shipping costs for free. AND since they do want the broken tool back, they are paying for that shipping as well.

If I could, I would give her 10 STARS for the best customer service a person could ever hope for. The Robert Bosch Tool Corporation, Dremel/RotoZip division is my new go to tool company. All the 'other' tool companies cannot compare or compete.
The Dremel Multi-Max 2.3 Amp Oscillating Tool Kit offers do-it-yourselfers a versatile and effective multitasking tool with the professional oscillating performance you've come to expect. It incorporates a powerful, efficient motor that provides cool, smooth operation under load. The compact design makes it easy to handle.
I would whole heartedly recommend this company to anyone. I decided to purchase an oscillating cutter about a year and a half ago. I spent a considerable amount of time reading reviews and checking out the various options in stores. I even contacted a few friends who had one and tried them out. After some study I settled on the Multi-Max. I had other Dremel rotary tools which have served me well.
The tool cut inconsistently from the time I got it. The speed seemed to vary and it got so hot I couldn't hold it after a few minutes. I should have returned it but most of the cuts I needed to make were small so I'd struggle through them and then put the tool away. I have not used the tool extensively and today I tried to turn it on and initially nothing happened. I switched it on and off a couple of times and it would come on, run intermittently and then shut off. It won't get up to speed to do any cutting. I've read comments about replacing the brushes but I don't see any place where I could do that on the tool.
So, now I'm stuck in a spot where I need the tool so I either need to go buy a new one or borrow one and try to get this one fixed. I received this tool for a Christmas present a number of years ago and for many months didn't power it up. But once turned on, it was indespenseable for our home renovation projects.
My wife actually used it more often than I did. Alas, this past month, it has gone to tool heaven - will not turn on, even after blowing out any dust from the ventilation openings. I suspect that the problem is with the variable speed pcb, or the on/off switch. When I went searching to buy another one, I have discovered that it's a discontinued model.
None of the local retailers can get one. Mistakenly, I purchased a Multi Max MM20, but my wife cannot get her small hands wrapped around the body, and it is heavier than the Multi Max 6300. All the competitors are similarly too large and heavy, so the search continues. *UPDATE I must say that this company has restored my faith in customer service. I had a bad experience with this model. I had a faulty unit and the company bent over backwards to fix it.
I was emailed within hours with a solution, and the company apologizing for the defective unit. They even thanked me for my service to the country.
I can tell you they stand behind their product. By showing customer service like that, they now have a customer for life. Once I am able to save enough money I would like to buy the Dremel 4000. I will be sure to post a positive review on here as well as their social media page. I will be telling all my friends and family about you guys. Thank you again!
It did what it was supposed to do and then some, you don't know how often you will find it to be the perfect tool until you have one. After a year an 1/2 of dependability it started not holding the variable speed well, I found that if I pushed forward of the knob it would work as intended but was uncomfortable to hold like that. I finally decided to take it apart the other day to clean the variable select and found that one of the 3 contacts was broken at the circuit board. I tried to re-solder it but failed and fugged the board.:( Moral of the story? Great product, get one for sure. Make sure to pay attention to the warranty time. I loved this tool when I first purchased it and used it to remove the remaining existing 1' siding between my house and new addition.
Dell Latitude E6100 Drivers on this page. I couldn't have used any other type of tool to do the job. I just brought it out again to help cut out notches for my deck railing and it began to give me problems.
It seems to be either the speed controller or the brushes. Now, I must say that I have used it quite a bit, so I am not terribly disappointed. I know there are newer models of this tool available so I may go that route. In the meantime, I was able to place an order for both parts. I hope they are in stock and that will fix the problem.
While I was in the military we would keep a Dremel around and use it without a problem. So naturally now that im out I would go back to what worked.
I recently got the Dremel Multi-Max 6300 and literally my first time using it, the unit seemed to power down after maybe 30 seconds and would not turn back on. Based off the reviews I am reading on here it seems that this may be a common problem.
Its frustrating to be in the middle of a project and have to stop because of something like this. I hope they fix the problem in newer models, and that they can help me with this one. I would hate to loose faith in the company. I bought the 6300 about 1.5 years ago in a three tool combo kit. I pulled it out maybe 6 months ago for one cut and yesterday to cut some drywall. I plugged it in and now it won't even start, from the reviews above pretty much everyone is having a similar issue. I can't take it back to the store because of how long I've had it even though I basically never used it.
I'm an electrician and have worked in the trades for almost 8 years and have never seen a power tool fail this easily or quickly. Feel free to email me a place to send it and if it's going to cost me money to fix just send me an email with one word 'Garbage'. I purchased a Dremel 6300 a few years ago but forgot to register it.
And on cue, Murphy showed up while I was working on a kitchen remodel at my rental, the 6300 died. I contacted Dremel CS.
The agent who assisted me was excellent, provided me the information needed for returning the tool and set the expectation as to when I would receive a response (typically a week) from the Repair department. A week goes by but instead of receiving a call, I received a replacement tool, MM20. Thank you Dremel for standing behind your products and most importantly your customers! My wife bought this a couple years ago for a xmas present. Wow I thought It was the greatest tool ever since it could cut door jambs.
Well anyhow i cut all the jambs on my neighbors laminate floor. Work good I was pretty impressed. Then decide to try it on my flooring project umm that was then end of life as we know it for my precious little multimax. Finally decide to dig it out of the garage and maybe salvage it but I am really not sure if its worth fixing.
I know its the speed governor but is this a worthy tool to invest in being I barely used it. I've had the Multi-Max 6300 for a couple years but have only used it sparingly a few times. This past weekend I used it to do some detail sanding on some stairs I am refinishing. I used it on and off for a couple of hours and I was very impressed with how well it worked. I wanted to finish the job today.
Plugged it in, turned it on, and. Tried to blow it out with some compressed air and still nothing. Thevar Magan Hd Video Songs Free Download.
What a disappointment for a tool with only a few hours of intermittent use. I expected better from Dremel.
